When mh daughter first started she would cry everyday but now she goes with no problem! Ms. Sheliza is the BEST she would message the night before to make sure I brought Shyla so she could get use to daycare!!! Shyla is also learning so much at daycare! I am so happy that I found an excellent home away from home for my daughter! When I drop her off in the morning I know she is in good hands! THANK YOU MS. SHELIZA AND MS. SELMA FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!!!!

As a parent I am very please that I choose to go with Beneath my wings daycare. I am very grateful that Sheliza and her staffs is so caring, friendly, and kind towards my child and other children at the daycare. I am first time mom and I was very nervous about leaving my child in daycare, but after meeting with Sheliza I knew my baby would be in good hands. I am a teacher and I recognize her professionalism, honesty, and warmest right away. I assure you that you will not be disappointed with this childcare provider. I've known Sheliza for just over 10 years and both of my daughters (one now 9 years old and the other 18 months and currently attending) each spent their early years with Ms. Sheliza. She is extremely loving, attentive, and provides age-appropriate care and activities for the children. Sheliza is communicative and kind, and always available. She often sends pictures and videos of my daughter during the day. Sheliza is also exceptionally knowledgeable about what foods can cause or help certain issues, and I have learned so much from her years of experience working with babies/toddlers. I highly recommend Beneath My Wings to anyone searching for a quality in-home daycare with a personable, knowledgeable and compassionate provider.

My Daughter has been going to Beneath My Wings Daycare for 10 Months. She started at 4 months old. As a 1st time parent and nervous leaving my daughter, Sheliza and her staff made me feel very comfortable. She always writes down how she is during the day and gets photos as well. Sheliza and her staff are great, attentive, honest and caring. My daughter is always ready when I pick her up and smiling. There is always a line of communication through out the day or written down. I highly recommend Beneath my Wings Daycare. The staff is great and takes great care of my daughter. I'm very happy on how she is progressing.

My son has been attending Beneath My Wings Daycare since he was 6 months old. I'm very have happy that I decided to enrolled my child at this place. Sheliza is very attentive, affectionate, friendly, polite, energetic, and most importantly, she loves children. I love that she communicates with me through out the day about how my child day is going. Beneath my wings daycare is in home facility that is located away from sheliza living space. It has its own set up. It's a very good quality daycare that offers a clean, friendly, inviting, and warm atmosphere for children. It has offered my child a home away from home feelings. As a parent it gives me a peace of mind knowing my child is in good hands. Sheliza and her staff assures me that my child's needs is being met every day. Another great plus that I like is that her program offers a nursery program that helps my child get ready for Pre-K.

My husband and I decided to buy a house and move to the burbs shortly after our baby was born. Stressful to say the very very least. (Seriously don't recommend that to anyone!) The hardest part of the move was finding a daycare that we were comfortable with and had the flexibility to work with two parents who commute into NYC. After so much research and meeting many daycares, we met Sheliza and it felt like all the stars were aligning. She is ultra focused on all the details a new mom is worried about. She is a mom herself and she treats all the kids she cares for as if they were her own. As a new mom, I deeply appreciate her no none sense attitude and veteran advice to help me through all my baby's firsts. (Which she never offers without being asked!) Leaving my infant with Sheliza everyday helps this mom breathe easier. I know she's in capable, compassionate, loving hands.

For a new mom returning to work, nothing is more stressful than searching for the right daycare for your child.

I was uncomfortable about enrolling my son in a corporate run daycare because I honestly felt he would not receive the attention he needed given his young age (4 months) and the high staff to child ratio. I was so relieved when I found Beneath My Wings Daycare. The staff to child ratio is low and most importantly Sheliza and her team really do care about each child at the daycare.

Sheliza is super attentive and I am extremely grateful that she maintains an open line of communication with the parents. My concerns have been addressed promptly and she keeps me posted about my son's well being especially when he is feeling under the weather. She does not hesitate to be honest and extremely open about our child's care. She is super accommodating and will chat with me after hours about my son's day. In addition, my son is always in a great mood during pick-up.

Sheliza and her team are wonderful caretakers and I highly recommend them to parents who are looking for a genuinely caring, attentive, and trustworthy daycare!

My 4 month old daughter has been attending "Beneath My Wings" for a few weeks now and I couldn't be happier! Sheliza, the owner is extremely meticulous, just what I was looking for when it came down to someone watching my baby. I thought that I would be very nervous dropping her off for her first day, but I left with a very comfortable, re-assured feeling. This day care is very clean, organized well, and offers a warm and loving environment. My daughter suffers with eczema and Sheliza makes sure to take great care of her skin while she is in her care. The idea of sending my little baby to daycare wasn't appealing, but with Sheliza and her staff, I feel like family is caring for my daughter while my husband and I are at work. I highly recommend "Beneath My Wings."

My son has been going to Beneath My Wings since he was 1 1/2 years and he loves it! My previous daycare had to close due to the illness of the owner, so I was in a panic to find a place that would give him the same love and attention that he was receiving. I was very happy to find Beneath My Wings as it was close to work and family but most importantly, I can trust that my child is in good hands that will take care of him as their own. My son is fed with home cooked meals, and snacks and if sick or acting not his usual self I will get a phone call. I have a great personal and professional interaction with Ms Sheliza and Ms Marlisa, who are very attentive and dedicated to the care of my son and other children. They take great care of my son and he is now almost fully potty trained!! They have been a big help getting him ready for kindergarten next year September, with their wide range of activities that is structured as a school, that includes music appreciation, art and crafts, phonics, and also outings to the local library. I have found a great nurturing environment for my son to thrive in and would gladly recommend Beneath My Wings to any parent seeking the same.

I picked Beneath my Wings after looking at a few other places and I'm very glad I did. I instantly felt reassured by the owner, she was the most involved and caring person I had come across when visiting all these different daycare. And I needed a lot of reassurance this this was my first child and she was just 3 months old. The owner and her staff are very dedicated, attentive and affectionate. They are very careful of the children's needs and also listen to our concerns. They're always willing to adjust and accommodate based on our baby's evolving needs. I also like that this is a smaller daycare: I think my baby is less sick than other babies I know in larger facilities, and I think she gets enough stimulation from being surrounded by older kids without it being overwhelming. I regularly recommend Beneath my wings to friends and colleagues as I trust that their kids will be in good hands here.

My daughter has been attending here since she was 4 months old and she will be turning 4 in 2 months and starting Pre-K, but will continue to attend here after school. It was the hardest thing in the world leaving her at 4 months but I could not picture a better place for her to be. She absolutely loves it there and I could not ask for better people to be taking care of her. They love her like she is their own. She has always loved learning and they have helped her to continue to learn and grow. They have helped her to excel at her writing. The daycare is exceptionally clean and sanitary. All meals are home cooked and healthy. People are amazed at my daughter's palette thanks to Ms. Sheliza. I can't say enough about how caring they are. She sends pictures and texts throughout the day so you can see what your child is doing. The hardest thing is to leave your child with a stranger, but I tell people if I could not be home with her Beneath My Wings is the next best thing. I would highly recommend here if you are looking for a place that will love and care for your child like they are her own.

My son entered Beneath My Wings when he was three months old and grew and learned there for two and a half years. The owner is like family to us now. She was without a doubt a key member to the development of my child. When my son had difficulty taking a bottle as a baby, the owner helped insure my child was fed with patience and flexibility. This is one of the benefits of a small, family daycare, which created a nurturing and loving environment that felt like home. The meals are all home cooked and natural. My son has great eating habits, a portion of which I attribute to Beneath My Wings. The owner is hands on and always aware of what is going on in her daycare. She helps the children thrive in their own individual ways they show interest in progress. My son still asks for Ms. Sheliza and the friends he made at Beneath My Wings. I would recommend this daycare gladly.

My daughter has been going here since she was 2 months and she is 2 years old now and we love it. The owner is extremely attentive to the development of the children and tries to work with the parents to implement systems that would be most beneficial for the child. They noticed early on my daughter was advanced in certain areas and have been catering to her needs and we make sure we implement as many things as we can into our daily routine so that she can continue to excel. She provides very healthy home cooked meals and communicates with us very often. Her daycare is clean and I prefer the smaller environment as my child gets sick less often than at a larger daycare. I have and will continue to reccomend her to family friends.

I'm a former Montessori teacher and very particular about child care. BMW is a great place--my toddler is happy to go and is always clean when he comes home and babbling about his day. The owner is very organized, communicates well, and the children eat home-made healthy meals there which I really appreciate. I cannot recommend Beneath My Wings for preschool/daycare highly enough. It's right off 287 & the Sprain & is easy to get to. It's also near the Greenburgh library for a stop along the way. Highly recommend!
